Queenisha Davis
Taupae Pia Graduate 2021

“I have really enjoyed being a part of the first Taupae Pia Cohort – starting my first work experience with other māori wahine on two six-month rotation placements. During this experience, I have felt valued and appreciated, having the space to grow professionally and personally.

I’ve had the opportunity to navigate my own projects, and have been involved in multiple projects across the organisation, contributing to different spaces including Pou Tikanga, Communications, Finance, Client Services, Trust and Property.

We have also travelled across New Zealand, gaining work experience outside the office, gaining insight into Māori Land Court Hearings and attending meeting of owners.

The programme is very unique – including a broader approach to learning about whenua Māori. It is very immersive, very inclusive and your thoughts and ideas are valued. If you are keen to work in an environment that values and appreciates your mahi and is committed to growing your talent, apply now. Take the opportunity now while you can.

Take the opportunity now while you can to learn about how to administrate, enhance and protect whenua māori for the benefit of your whānau, mokopuna and the next generation to come.”
